Our Staff

Jim Lamb, DVM a

The owner of River Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Lamb received his veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 1986. With a diverse background in large and small animal medicine, he finds particular interest in orthopedics and diseases of the skin.

When not busy with his patients Dr. Lamb takes care of his own animals: Bibbs the cat: Cracker, the horse; six Angus cows; and a bull.

Jeff Marvig, DVM

Dr. Marvig came to River Road Animal Hospital in 1998, following a one-year internship at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital. He earned his veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1991, and takes special interest in certain knee surgeries.

Both at home and at work, Dr. Marvig enjoys the company of his chocolate Lab, Mo. Mo accompanies him to work daily and donates blood here on occasion.

Sharon Molton, DVM

Dr. Molton graduated from Washington State University, earning her degree in veterinary medicine in 2000. A member of the River Road Animal Hospital staff since 2002, Dr. Molton especially likes internal medicine.

At home Dr. Molton shares her time with her cat Mocha and her cockatiel Magoo. Outdoors she enjoys hiking, kayaking and gardening.

Pam Wiltzius, DVM

Dr. Pam joined River Road Animal Hospital in 2003. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992, and hers fields of interest include exotics (birds, reptiles, and small mammals), cardiology and ultrasound.

Outside of work, Dr. Pam keeps busy with quite a menagerie of her own: three dogs (two mastiffs and a pit bull), three birds (lorikeets), and a lizard (a bearded dragon). Her non-animal pastimes are running, traveling and music.

Lisa Hedman, DVM

Our newest veterinarian, Dr. Hedman came to River Road Animal Hospital directly from Washington State University, where she received her degree in 2004. She finds the fields of animal behavior and internal medicine particularly rewarding.

Dr. Hedman’s pets include two Border Collies, Anne and Toby: an Airedale, Cedar; and a cat, Ginger. When time allows, Dr. Hedman trains her dog in obedience and agility.
